Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a holiday destination offering a wide-range of accommodations. If you choose to stay within the village, the Riessersee Hotel is easily accessible by taxi. To assist with your planning, we have compiled a few recommendations below. Additional accommodation options are available in the nearby villages of “Hammersbach” and “Grainau” as well.

1.Riessersee Hotel

We have reserved rooms for our guests at the Riessersee Hotel until 18th June 2026. You can book a room by completing the attached PDF reservation form (available in both German and English) and sending it directly to the hotel.

Additional Information:

  • Free parking is available at the hotel.
  • There is no shuttle service from the train station or airport.
  • Taxi fare from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen train station to the Riessersee Hotel is approximately €20.00 EUR.

2.Stay Good Holiday Apartments

We recommend Stay Good Holiday Apartments. They offer well-equipped accommodations, and we have a personal contact there Christian Trappel.

  4. Ask for a specific offer from their website.

Useful Information:

 

  • Apartments are available for 2 to 12 people.
  • Longer stays (more than 4 nights) are offered at discounted rates.
  • The more people sharing an apartment, the lower the cost per person.
  • Some buildings offer multiple apartments, perfect for families and groups who wish to stay close together.
  • Rates typically range from €80–€100 per person per night, though special rates may be available.
  • To secure your preferred option, we recommend booking no later than mid-January, as availability decreases significantly afterward. Ideally, bookings should be made at least six months before the wedding, especially for larger apartments.

Tip: The GaPa Tourismus website lists nearly all local accommodations in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. However, we recommend contacting apartment owners directly rather than booking through the site, as direct bookings charge an additional service fee.

⚠️ Important Note:

We strongly advise not booking apartments from Schobert or Bergland.
